A MOVEMENT OF IMPACT AND EMPOWERMENT
Last Wednesday, a press conference was held at the Barbados Coalition of Service Industries (BCSI) to highlight the upcoming Women’s Wellness Walk 2025, an initiative uniting women and girls in support of health, empowerment, and community upliftment.
The gathering was energetic, purposeful, and powerful, with heartfelt contributions from the event’s key stakeholders.
Led by Celia Collymore, Founder of Bajan Fusion, the event showcased the mission behind the walk, which has successfully mobilized 100+ women and girls to step forward for Gems in the Rough (March 30), The Breastfeeding & Child Nutrition Foundation (June 29), and Victorious Warriors (September 28).
Each charity’s representative eloquently shared their organization’s impact, emphasizing the significance of Bajan Fusion’s support and the direct benefits to the women and families they serve. The sentiment of gratitude, unity, and empowerment was felt throughout the room.
Also in attendance were representatives from BCSI, the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Community Empowerment’s media team, and key contributors to the initiative, reinforcing the collective effort to drive awareness and action in women’s health and wellness.

The media and the wider community were invited to help spread the word and celebrate the movement of strength, sisterhood, and support. (PR)
