A meteor shower will impact this year’s calypso finals next Friday August 3rd, at the Botanical Gardens. Early this morning the NCF announced the list of finalists who will try to dethrone King iweb to take the coveted crown. All Stars Calypso tent has taken the lion’s share with nine calypsonians gaining places in the finals. The high standard of last night’s judging show could almost be considered a dress rehearsal for the finals. Before a large and excited audience, the cast of All Stars took everyone into a galaxy of well-written and performed calypsoes.
Colin Spencer, Darin Holder, Eric Lewis, Grateful Co, Imara, John Yarde, Sammy Dello, Sammy G, and Trinity are the finalists from the All Stars tent.
