Flow’s Business team supports Welches graduates
Employees of Flow Barbados have once again demonstrated their deep commitment to community by donating $1500 in stationery supplies to the 2025 graduating class of Welches Primary School.
The annual initiative is led by the Business Sales Department with support from other team members who make the out-of-pocket donation.
The donation, which will benefit 22 students, ensures they head into their secondary school journey this September equipped with the essential tools they need to succeed.
Each child received a Flow-branded bag filled with essential school supplies including notebooks, pencil cases, pens, rulers, sharpeners, scientific calculators, geometry sets and highlighters. Apart from the stationery, they also got hygiene items such as hand sanitiser, tissue, toothbrushes and toothpaste.
“As a team, we’re passionate about giving back and making an impact where it matters most. By supporting these students, we’re not only easing the financial load for their families, we’re sending a message that we believe in their potential and that they are not alone on this next chapter of their academic journey,” said Kim Haynes, Manager, Enterprise Sales, Liberty Business.
Welches Primary School, located just minutes from Flow’s corporate office in Warrens, has enjoyed a longstanding relationship with the company.
Julia Broome, Principal of Welches Primary, expressed heartfelt appreciation for the support.
“This generous donation from Flow speaks volumes about the power of community. It shows our students that people care deeply about their future and are willing to invest in their success. We are truly grateful for this continued partnership,” she said.
Flow’s employees will also continue to give back to the communities they serve, as volunteerism and charity are two main pillars of the company’s corporate social responsibility efforts.
Since 2017, the Liberty Caribbean Charitable Foundation, a registered charity, has been empowering communities and changing lives through a number of give-back initiatives including JUMP which connects financially vulnerable communities with affordable services. (PR)
