BARBADOS IS UNDER A HURRICANE WARNING AS BERYL APPROACHES THE ISLAND
Hurricane Beryl intensifies into a category 3 hurricane therefore a hurricane warning remains in effect for Barbados.
The reconnaissance aircraft is currently investigating the system and has found storm-force winds in the outer bands ahead of the system. Taking this into account storm-force winds are expected before midnight 1st July 2024. The center of Beryl is expected to passabout 73 miles (118 km) south of Barbados sometime early Monday morning 1st July 2024.
