Barbados Job Register Continues Its Rollout With Strong National Participation
The launch of the Barbados Job Register has been met with enthusiastic participation across the island, as Barbadians embrace the platform designed to connect job seekers with opportunities and strengthen the nation’s workforce.
Since its introduction, the Job Register has seen a steady flow of registrations both online and at convenient pop-up outreach locations across the island. This week, registration is available at the NIS Unemployment Section as well as popular hubs such as Dome Mall, Sky Mall, and the Samuel Jackman Prescod Institute (SJPI). Several Barbadians have already taken advantage of the simple, on-the-spot registration process.
“The Barbados Job Register makes it easier than ever to find talent,” said Danielle Sealy, Human Resources Officer, C. O. Williams Construction Limited, one of the first employers to sign up after the launch. “I think that the Job Register is a great initiative, and I believe it will be beneficial to the employers as well as prospective candidates looking for work in Barbados, as well as across the Caribbean.”
The Job Register is an essential part of the Ministry of Labour, Social Security and Third Sector’s drive to support employment, training, and enfranchisement, particularly for young people and those re-entering the workforce. By simplifying the process of connecting employers and job seekers, the platform helps to build stronger bridges between opportunity and talent.
Registration is quick and accessible. Job seekers can sign up online at barbadosjobregister.gov.bb from anywhere, upload their CVs, and become visible to employers nationwide. For those who prefer in-person assistance, the pop-up locations provide on-the-spot support, making the process fast, easy, and stress-free.
Barbadians are encouraged not to wait—sign up today, show your skills, and get seen. Employers are equally invited to register and tap into the growing pool of local talent. (PR/GIS)
