Late Wednesday night, November 2nd, Minister of Home Affairs, Wilfred Abrahams announced that Barbadians will celebrate their traditional Independence Day on November 30th a reversal of his previous announcement that November 30th would have been renamed Barbados National Day
The Minister said that the recommendation that November 30th remain as Independence Day instead of Barbados National Day will represented to the Cabinet of Barbados today. Stating that the response from Barbadians has been overwhelming with Barbadians not being in favour with its timing.
