The audience sang, rocked and grooved to every song and waited patiently for their favourite artist to perform. Each set was followed by local DJs who kept up the hype.
Sizzla graced the stage around 12.50 am performing for about an hour belting out most of his popular hits and favourites for the crowd.
The Barbados reggae weekend continued on Sunday April 28th with Reggae in the Gardens featuring UB 40, Morgan Heritage, Queen Ifrica, Tessanne Chin and Massicka.
The massive crowd sang and danced as each artist energetically performed but the anticipation and excitement grew as they awaited UB40 with Ali Campbell and Morgan Heritage.
The wait was worth it as the performance of both groups was fantastic. Even though the breaks between performances were long there was no mass exodus. The show ended on a high with Massicka around 4 am.
