BMA FOCUSING ON HELPING MANUFACTURERS

BMA TRADE & INNOVATION SUMMIT 2022

The Barbados Manufacturing  Association held its first  trade show after a three year hiatus due to covid19 last weekend, October 21 to 23.  The summit was held at the  Lloyd  Erskine Sandiford Centre where the Executive Director of the BMA Shardae Boyce expressed her excitement and pleasure both of the exhibits and participants.

The summit opened its doors to primary and secondary children who walked through the halls and visited the booths where several local businesses displayed their products.

The event previously known as BMEX attracted 61 exhibitors including exhibits from Guyana and Trinidad and Tobago with a variety of products ranging from handmade jewellery, craft robotics, renewable energy, household items and beverages.

Last Friday, most of the day was dedicated to tours from President Dame Sandra Mason, Prime Minister Mia Mottley and other government ministers & officials.
