Electoral & Boundaries Commission Urges Public To Update Records

Registration open today October 27th

The Electoral and Boundaries Commission – Electoral Department (EBCED) is inviting members of the public who were not visited during the recent 2025 National Enumeration Exercise to contact the Department to update their electoral records.

During the four-week national exercise, enumerators were unable to locate a number of persons across several constituencies.

The Commission is therefore encouraging all eligible electors who did not meet with an enumerator, and who believe their names should appear on the Register of Electors, to come forward to have their information brought up-to-date.

This update process is essential to ensure the accuracy of the Register of Electors, as only those whose names appear on the Register are eligible to vote in an election.

To facilitate this process, Registration Centres will be open from Monday, October 27, to Friday, November 7, Mondays to Saturdays, between 10:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m., to check names and update records.
