It was night of glitz and glamour, as the highly anticipated Liquid Gold Feast event was held to culminate Barbados Food and Rum Festival this past Sunday. The 2023 festival, has been praised as one of the best incarnations in recent years, certainly pulled out all the stops this weekend to bring the culinary festival to a fitting conclusion, with an all you can eat, black tie affair on the grounds of Ilaro Court.
Patrons of the night were treated to mouthwatering cuisine and excellent cocktails created by many of the best local chefs and mixologists, who truly put on their best to bring a one-of-a-kind experience to the exclusive event.

And of course, would could not talk about Liquid Gold without speaking about the Beninese-born Nigerian singing sensation Ayra Starr, who closed out the night in fine style by singing many of her hit songs for the engaged crowd. All in all, Barbados Food and Rum Festival 2023, despite the occasional rainy weather, was a hit. What does 2024 have to offer? Time will tell.
