Mount Gay Unveils Limited Edition XO Cricket Inspired Label

Exclusive to Barbados it’s in Honour of ICC T20 World Cup 2024 Final in Barbados

As excitement builds around the ICC T20 World Cup 2024, Mount Gay has unveiled its first-ever Limited Edition XO cricket inspired label. 

From June 1, Barbados, the birthplace of rum and cricket loving island, will transform into a sporting extravaganza, in anticipation of the ICC T20 World Cup finals being held at the prestigious Kensington Oval. Capturing the spirit of camaraderie and the vibrant culture and heritage of the West Indies and cricket, Mount Gay has released a limited-edition XO exclusively for Barbados. 

Antoine Couvreur, Managing Director of Mount Gay said, “Mount Gay’s Limited Edition XO cricket inspired edition not only pays homage to this year’s historic event, but also allows Barbadians and visitors to the island to raise a glass and celebrate with the original and highly-awarded XO rum, an icon and source of pride for all Bajans.”

Mount Gay limited-edition XO

The limited-edition XO will be available for purchase at the Mount Gay Visitor Center and Mount Gay Distillery as well as at select Duty Free stores on the island.

Mount Gay rums will be available during the matches in the Fan Park at Copacabana. Between the games, patrons are invited to visit the Mount Gay Visitor Centre and Mount Gay Distillery, where they can enjoy the best of Barbadian hospitality – from Signature Tastings and Cocktail Workshops to extours at the World’s oldest running rum distillery.
