Registration Open For National Senior Games

Persons 40 years and over can now register to take part in the Barbados National Senior Games, which come off from June 10 to 25.

Interested persons may obtain registration forms from the National Sports Council, at My Lord’s Hill and the Wildey Gymnasium; the Child Care Board, Cheapside, Bridgetown; the Welfare Department, Roebuck Street, St. Michael; the National Assistance Board, Country Road, St. Michael, and the National Disabilities Unit, Lower Collymore Rock, St. Michael.

Forms may also be obtained from the Oistins, Glebe, Six Roads, Eagle Hall, Holetown and Speightstown post offices.  Completed forms may be returned to any of the collection venues.

Alternatively, persons may also register by visiting the website of the Barbados National Senior Games or by scanning the QR code attached to the flier.

Persons can compete in 13 sporting disciplines – cycling, squash, netball, basketball, table tennis, road tennis, tennis, archery, darts, chess, dominoes, a 5K walk/run, and track and field.

The track and field meet comes off at the Usain Bolt Sports Complex on June 24 and 25, between 4:00 and 8:00 p.m.  Meanwhile, the other disciplines will be held at venues across the island.
