Riddim Tribe on the road for Kadooment

Local dance group Riddim Tribe is playing mas on Grand Kadooment Day.

The group announced its new business venture as a marketing partner for the band Vida by Esquire for the 2023 Crop Over Festival

In media release, the group stated that is has made a strategic decision to broaden its horizons beyond dance performances and venture into the business of masquerade. This decision was based on “the desire to showcase their diverse skillset, and to explore new avenues of growth and development”.

As a marketing partner for Vida by EsquireRiddimTribe intends to leverage its creativity and innovation to promote the band, and enhance its brand awareness for the 2023 Crop Over Festival

Riddim Tribe’s Creative Director Aisha Comissiongsaid the group will utilise its extensive social media presence, and other marketing channels to attract new audiences and generate excitement for the upcoming festival.

“We are thrilled to announce our new venture as the marketing partner for Vida by Esquire for the 2023 Crop Over Festival. Our dance group has always been known for its creativity and innovation, and we believe that our skills will be an asset to Vida by Esquire

“We would have previously worked with Ryan Forde on one of his other ventures and we are very appreciative that when he and his partners decided to create the band they thought about us. It was just a perfect fit and we are excited showcase our diverse skillset,” Comissiong said.

Both parties are hoping that the partnership will bring a new level of energy and excitement to the upcoming festival. Riddim Tribe and Vida by Esquire promises a memorable event for all attendees. They are eager to deliver given their combined efforts which are geared towards the 2023 Crop Over Festival

Another member of the group Megan Edwards commented: “This is a chance for everyone who wants to vibe with the tribe to sign up for our section Karnavali and be part of the group for the biggest day on the Crop Over Calendar.”

The band officially launched on April 2 and costumes are available online or in the band house on Bay Street. (PR)
