Shane Brathwaite had made his way to the 110m Hurdles only to find himself knocked off the track after two athletes failed to start the race when the final gun went in Oregon for the World Championships in his event.
Brathwaite who is a Pan Games gold medalist in 2019 and a bronze in 2015has competed at three World Championships before and two Olympic Games.
However he was clipped after the fifth hurdle and then again on the sixth hurdle in the final in Oregon which saw him unable to keep on the track and he went on as he was running in lane one.
Brathwaite got a disqualification in the event which only saw 6 starters/
Brathwaite has a personal best time in the 110m hurdles of 13.21 secs.
The winner of the 110m Hurdles in Oregon was Grant Halloway in 13.03 secs, while second was Trey Cunningham in 13.08 secs and third was Asier Martinez in 13.17 secs.
