St. Leonard’s Boys Win School Attendance Jingle Competition

Performing a jingle entitled Don’t Lose Your Way, the St. Leonard’s Boys’ School are the winners of the School Attendance Jingle Competition for 2025.

The School Attendance Jingle Competition, which had as its theme Don’t Lose Your Way, Come to School Every Day, was a collaboration between the Ministry of Educational Transformation and its School Attendance Department.

The finals were held today in the auditorium of the St. Leonard’s Boys’ School at Richmond Gap, St. Michael.

The school won with 466 points, while Shirley Chisholm Primary School gained 429 points and placed second with a jingle called Take Me to School.

The Springer Memorial Secondary School scored 352 with its third-place piece entitled Why Should I,while Grazette’s Primary School amassed 317 points for fourth place with a performance called Stop Fooling Around

Participants were tasked with performing a one-minute original jingle and providing a ‘defence’ of the lyrics, sound, musical arrangement, and concept. (PR/GIS)
