STUDENTS GRADUATE FROM INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME

Just under 40 students have completed the recent Ocean Hotels-Chickmont Foods internship programme.
The 38 students celebrated the successful completion of their internship at the O2 Beach Club & Spa in Dover, Christ Church. Interns came from Barbados Community College’s Jean and Norma Holder Hospitality Institute, the Samuel Jackman Prescod Institute of Technology, the University of the West Indies Cave Hill Campus, and Top Shelf Bar Academy.
In congratulating them on their success, Patricia Affonso-Dass, CEO and group general manager of Ocean Hotels Group, said the students should be proud of their dedication and the and the priceless amounts of experienced they gained during their internship.
“I’m delighted to introduce 38 graduates who have showcased their expertise across various roles within our organisations – 12 at O2 Beach Club and Spa, 14 at Sea Breeze Beach House, three at our Ocean Hotel Corporate Office, and nine at Chickmont Foods Ltd. We are very proud of you, and you should be extremely proud of yourselves.
