TRIBUTES FLOWED FOR THE LATE RICHARD STOUTE
The Hon Mia Amor Mottley along with family, friends and fellow entertainers gathered to pay their final respects to the late Richard Stoute. The Prime Minister spoke of her last conversation with Richard Stoute where she informed him that the National Botanical Gardens amphitheatre will be renamed and will bear his name.
Current and past teen talent contestants paid their respects to the late Richard Stoute who was known as the ‘godfather’ of entertainment. Giving their reflections were, Kevin Stoute, son of Richard Stoute, the Hon Anthony Gabby Carter and Caricom Ambassador, David Commissiong during the service of thanksgiving today at the Sir Garfield Sobers Gymnasium.
