YOUNG ARTISTS PRAISED ON CARICOM DAY

Several outstanding young Barbadian artists have secured endorsement deals in honor of CARICOM Day on July 4 to advance their artistic careers.

In a brief ceremony on Tuesday, Ashley Lashley, the CARICOM youth ambassador, commended the young artists from Shirley Chisholm Primary School, St. Martin’s Mangrove Primary School, and Lester Vaughan School for their efforts in their respective fields and promised that more opportunities would be made available.

“Throughout this endorsement with us, they will receive various mentorship opportunities from prominent musicians in Barbados. We will be donating equipment to them to help propel their musical careers, and they will be taken on various media tours throughout this endorsement.

“Here at the Ashley Lashley Foundation, we see the immense potential in these young artistes, and we are committed to providing them the resources and support that they need. We believe that music is a potent tool for inspiring positive change,and these young artists have a unique ability to connect with audiences and inspire action.”
