President Bostic visits Fr. Clement Paul
This morning the new President of Barbados, The Honorable Lieutenant Colonel Jeffrey Bostic paid a visit to Catholic priest Fr. Clement Paul at his residence, the presbytery, in Jemmott’s Lane. The visit was an overwhelming surprise to the well known priest who recently celebrated his eightieth birthday.
Fr. Paul was relaxing minutes after his breakfast when President Bostic arrived. Both gentlemen share
a unique bond with the President serving in the Defence Force and Fr. Paul serving as the chaplain for many years.
The President thanked Fr Paul for his work, commitment and advice not only to the military staff but also to the people in the City of Bridgetown where President Bostic served as member of Parliament.
