It brings together the best of both worlds – AWS’s global cloud leadership and Liberty Business’ deep understanding of the Caribbean market,” he told those present at the Mount Gay Visitors Centre.

“Our customers gain more than access to cloud technology; they gain a trusted partner that can support every stage of their digital transformation journey, from strategy and migration to ongoing management and optimisation. Together, we are making it easier for businesses and organisations in Barbados to innovate, grow, and compete in an increasingly digital economy.”

The collaboration enables Liberty Business customers to benefit from cloud advisory services, migration support, managed cloud operations, hybrid cloud solutions, disaster recovery capabilities, and simplified local billing, all delivered through a single accountable provider.

“Liberty Latin America’s strategic collaboration with AWS demonstrates how telecommunications providers are evolving from connectivity suppliers to comprehensive digital transformation partners,” said Jan Hofmeyr, VP, Telecommunications at AWS.

“By combining Liberty Latin America’s deep regional expertise and strong customer relationships together with AWS Cloud and AI capabilities, enterprises across Latin America and the Caribbean will gain access to a trusted partner who understands both their business challenges and has the technical solutions needed to drive growth. This collaboration reflects the industry shift toward telecommunications providers enabling cloud adoption at scale.”

The partnership is expected to benefit organisations across a range of sectors, including government, financial services, tourism and hospitality, healthcare, business process outsourcing, and other industries that rely on secure, resilient, and scalable digital infrastructure. (PR)
