Sir Garry To Lie In State At Kensington Oval On July 28

Members of the public will have another opportunity to pay their respects to The Right Excellent Sir Garfield Sobers, National Hero of Barbados, whose body will lie in state at Kensington Oval, Fontabelle, St. Michael, today, Tuesday, July 28, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Additionally, persons who wish to attend the State Service of Thanksgiving for the life of Sir Garry on Wednesday, July 29, are reminded that tickets are available at several locations.

They are the General Post Office, the St. James and St. Andrew Post Offices, Government Headquarters, Bay Primary School, Parliament Buildings, Kensington Oval, Weymouth Sports Club, Cricket Legends, and the David Thompson Health and Social Services Complex.
