The profile on candidates continues with a focus today on the consiturencies of St Joseph and St. Philip North.
ST. JOSEPH
Ryan Brathwaite is a business executive and entrepreneur. His career spans construction, digital enterprise, culture and public administration. He is the founder and excutive chairman of Ticketlinkz Inc and Hackleton Construction as well as the founder and CEO of Barbados Reggae Weekend. Brathwaite is a first time candidate for the constituency.
Randall Rouse is a businessman who remains committed to this constituency having faced the electorate on a few occasions.
ST PHILIP NORTH
Dr. Sonia Browne was elected for the constituency in 2018 and re-elected in 2022 brings three decades of medical practice to public life. She has served as Minister of State in the Ministry of Health and Wellness with responsibilty for the Queen Elizabeth Hospital as well as Chair of Committees.
Simon Clarke is an attorney-at-law and former national cyclist representing Barbados at the Central American and Caribbean Games, Pan American Cycling Championships and Caribbean Cycling Championships between 1998 and 2013. simon’s legal training included the Barbados Community College, University of the West aindies and the Hugh Wooding Law School. Simon is a first time candidate for the constituency.
Anya Lorde is the candidate for St. Philip North, is an Attorney, motivational speaker and domestic violence advocate. Anya specializes in working with families, children, and people who are most vulnerable, giving her first-hand experience of how systems succeed and where they feel vulnerable, and ensure leadership that serves the people with integrity and respect. Anya is a first time candidate for the constituency.
