BREAKING NEWS – YOUNG TO LEAD PNM

Outgoing Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago, Dr. Keith Rowley, has revealed that the People’s National Movement, PNM, parliamentary caucus has thrown its support behind Stuart Young to lead the party.

Dr. Rowley made the revelation on Monday afternoon.

He was speaking with members of the media in Tobago following the PNM’s parliamentary retreat.

The decision means Stuart Young will be the new Prime Minister when Dr. Rowley resigns.

On January 3 this year, Dr. Rowley announced that he will not contest the 2025 General Election.

The Prime Minister says he will resign before the end of the legal limits of the term.
