BROWNE SET TO REPLACE ROWLEY IN TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO

In Trinidad & Tobago, Minister of Foreign and Caricom Affairs, Senator Dr Amery Browne, is poised to replace outgoing Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley as candidate for the Diego Martin West seat.

Guardian Media reports that Dr Browne has consented to be nominated for the seat.

It references a letter written by Dr Browne and addressed to the People’s National Movement’s General Secretary Foster Cummings.

Dr Browne had previously denied being approached to be the PNM’s standard bearer for the seat.
