15 POINT ECONOMIC STRATEGY OUTLINED

PRIME MINISTER MIA AMOR MOTTLEY in yesterday’s budget presentation stated that government is pursuing a 15 point economic strategy, these include: 

Business Barbados a new body to be created

Increased public and private  partnership

Tax structures to be reviewed

Modernisation of the current tax system

Digitisation of businesses

Unlocking the mortgage market

Removing the block on renewable energy investments

Monetising illicit and derelict assets

Establishing the pharmaceutical industry

Developing Barbados as an Agri-processing hub

Incentivising a vibrant creative industry and film industry

Emphasis in capital projects
