Barbados Cadet Corps’ Passing Out Parade On Saturday

The Barbados Cadet Corps will host a Passing Out Parade and Awards Ceremony for Recruit Intake 1 of 2026 today, Saturday, April 11, at the Barbados Defence Force Headquarters, St. Ann’s Fort, The Garrison, St. Michael, commencing at 4:00 p.m.

This marks the successful completion of initial training by a new cohort of cadets, who have demonstrated discipline, commitment, and personal growth throughout their programme.

The ceremony will feature a formal parade, showcasing the recruits’ drill proficiency and military bearing, followed by the presentation of awards recognising outstanding performance in various areas, including leadership, academics, and overall excellence.

The parade will be reviewed by Chief of Staff, Brigadier the Honourable Carlos Lovell, who will serve as the Reviewing Officer. His presence underscores the importance of youth development and national service embodied by the Barbados Cadet Corps.

Family members, invited guests, and members of the public are encouraged to attend and witness this milestone in the lives of the cadets as they transition to the next phase of their development within the Corps.
